Be Honest, who would want to see a real snuff film?

one of my friends tricked me into watching a fake snuff film. it was that guinea pig movie. not expecting it, i thought for sure this was real and it seriously messed with my head for a couple of days. *beep* told me that it was just a cool samurai film.

i don't think i would ever consciously want to watch a real one.

This world is not conclusion; A sequel stands beyond, Invisible, as music, But positive, as sound.

A lot of people think that they could take it. Including rural and suburban kiddies who have had their fill of Hostile and Saw, but in reality most people can't take true cruelty without loosing their mind.

I'm sure many of the servicemen who are coming back from Iraq and blowing their own brains out at disproportionate rates probably thought they could handle it since they played Halo growing up. Guess not. And jobs like paramedics and nurses have high burn out rates.

I also find it amusing how most young western males are often disgusted and repulsed by every-day by bodily fluid such as menstrual fluid from their girlfriend or a baby's dirty diaper, but think they can handle real blood and guts.

I think morbid curiosity would get the bestof most people and they would watch, but only a few would actually admit it.

Lot's of people would. Ever heard of 'Faces of Death'? Millions of people watched those movies; they can't all be psychopaths or sociopaths. You could rent them on VHS tapes back in the 80s. I assume they're on DVD now.

Then there was the Ogrish website. Millions of hits before it was shut down.

Hell, I remember seeing snuff theaters in Times Square back in the 70s with titles on the marquis like: 'See a man killed and eaten by a lion."

Nothing new. Romans would pay to see gladiators killing each other.
