BERNARD IS IN THE NOVEL!!!
Despite him not being in the film, STRANGELY, He is a major character in the movie novel (now discontinued). I bought it on clearance at Borders. U can get it online, but Bernard IS in the book.

shareI would assume he is referring to the movie novelization which just means it's called exactly what the movie is called. It's very common to see changes in movie novelizations. Happens all the time.
