Mrs. Claus/Carol's Parents

Okay in the Santa Clause 2 Carol mentions that her parents fought all the time and only were nice to each other. This would lead people to believe that her parents would divorce later on in her life. Yet in the 3rd movie they show her parents getting along only occasionally bickering. Any insights?

Oh yeah...you'd think since I watched both movies back to back today, I would've noticed that. They never exactly say the parents got divorced in the first, so it's not exactly a plot hole. However I do agree we were lead to believe her parents were divorced, and that the writers chose to ignore that minor detail so they could heavily feature both parents in the third.

I like the next poster watched the eps back 2 back and never got insight to them seeming divorced. Guess due to my parents also being the type to bicker that it seemed normal for her to have commented on there issues.

I personally see myself sort of like Mrs. Claus due to my own parents always going at one another but somehow making things work out. One day I think my dad will walk out on moms and then they are talking about going on vacation together. Family is weird like that

But the way she was telling it was when she was a kid, so some point that they could have change of heart, or somehow started being nicer to each other, so they didn't have to hit dirvoce court. THey only had like 2 times in the whole movie where they were seen fighting. But maybe not getting a dirvoce, and besides he through she mentioned it, but it was not like they were really apart of the story for the 2nd movie. But is nice seeing them. Or maybe it wasn't easy but they could have had gone to professional help. But the way she was telling it, was like in the past. She didn't mention at all in the 2nd film, how their relationship was like in the present.

They were focused more on their daughters well being, and worrying about the baby.
