Scott putting on the coat plot hole

In the first movie, Scott puts on the coat after he, Charlie, and the reindeer fly off to the first house. Remember he was in his boxers? In this movie, when they go back in time to the first movie, he puts on the coat as soon as the old Santa falls off the roof.

They just edited it in that way for timing. Most people wouldn't remember that timeline.

I noticed it! How could he have known he put the suit back on? He was at the next house when he put the suit on. How would Scott have seen that?

The scene when Scott and Jack go back to the past the second time, when Scott is restoring things to normal, was too rushed. The clips they used from the first movie are way out of order. For example, it shows the clip where he picks up the suit after the previous Santa disappeared and says "This guy is huge" and the next clip is the one where Charlie says "you killed him", and the previous Santa is still on the ground.

You can tell they filmed it on a re-created set of the townhouse from the first one. There was no snowman and the yard was not as large.

Yeah that annoyed me too! Also, it's a different coat! In the first movie, the Santa coat has a hood whereas, in the second and third it has a wide collar. Okay, so you can say he has more than one coat but when Frost picked up the coat from the snow and put it on, it was the collared version. Grrr!
