for those who have read the novelization, what was different from the final movie? I heard bernard was in it but since there is a lack of script available (unless someone has it) then could someone please explain what bernard did in the story and what was not shown in the movie that was in the novel, specifically?!

I still have the Novel. Haven't read it since 2006 when this was first out, but from what I remember, he was basically his usual self but plays a smaller role. Curtis indeed plays a big role like he does in the final version, Bernard was essentially 2nd banana.
