better than pans labyrinth

i didnt no what to expect from this film since i had never heard of it before but i actually thought it was pretty good. shared alot of similarities with pans labyrinth, the whole normal person given a task by creatures from folk tales and not knowing if hes mad. Just add a creepy goat man and turn the wolf into a fascist and it would have been a huge success

Tell me you're not serious?

The difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves, but how she is treated.

reply

No way in hell is this better than Pan's Labyrinth.

I agree, no way is it better than PL

Top troll, I actually lol'd at the title of this thread.

"I feel like saying more, but I don't want to ruin the surprise."

reply

Wow, calling people 'top troll' simply because they have preferences which are unlike yours? Bravo Mario!
Well... call me 'Sauron' then, cause I found Pan's Labyrinth unbearably heavy and it has no place in my movie collection.
I'll probably watch Lady In The Water soon, just to confirm that is is INDEED better than sorry ass Pan's. 🐊

In Japan we don't speak of misogyny, but we admit to having female phobia.

Way more goofy and egotistical than Pan's Labyrinth, and not as creepy either.

reply

Not even close to the brilliance of Pan's Labyrinth.

Does IMDB hate apostrophes?

reply

I like Lady in the Water, but its nowhere near Pan's Labyrinth.

reply

Yeah, no way, dude. I like this movie (sort of, it's a mixed bag to say the least), but Pan's Labyrinth is vastly superior.

reply

I appreciate both films for different reasons, but truth be told, my family and I have re-watched 'LitW' more often than 'PL'...

reply

lol me too. It was fun and funny.
