this has got to be the worst film ever made....

Well one of them. I get that M Night is trying to make a fairy tale. But Fairy tales need a light touch and most of the time Fairy tales have pretty simple stories. Think about Edward Scissorhands.



But this, the story is so idiotic and yet the movies takes it so seriously. Bryce Dallas Howard and Paul Giamati are so stiff and so dour and yet everyone else in the buildings plays it like live action cartoons.


And that thing with the film critic was idiotic. He refers to himself as a side character, which in the movie he is. But why would some one refer to themselves as a side character, in his life he would be the main character.
