It's bland and dreary - but I was expecting worse

Okay, I wasn't impressed with it - but from the reviews it got - I was expecting it to be as terrible(think Sex and the City 2 - now that's bad). Anyone else expected it to be worse?

He made the movie IN The Cove and constructed a fictional building [open on one side] called The Cove.

Now think about that, the shape of the pool, and this time LISTEN to the message of the stick men at the start.

I'll tell you Les, it's comical how people miss the critiques Night is making thru his films, including this one... Which DRAWS it out for the "Kiddies" before the film actually starts! Most Night fans are oblivious to what he's ACTUALLY saying.

it was the opposite in my case. i heard it was terrible, but assumed everyone was exaggerating because they say that about the village too and when i saw that it wasn't as bad as i expected it to be, but then when i saw this i was honestly shocked at how justified everyone's criticism was. i, however, am very optimistic about movies so i can't hate it. truth be told the only reason i even watched it is because of Bryce Dallas Howard.

Well Tony, nobody wants a war. If we can't do business why we'll just shake hands and that'll be it!
