Great movie

I just watched this on HBO. I don't get the hate. I liked it. Maybe people were expecting another horror movie? This is a fantasy, a fairy tale. There's some suspense but it's not meant to be scary. Like all fairy tales, this one teaches you something about the human condition. Cleveland's story is sad but all too common. Getting stuck happens to many people for many reasons. I don't think it was the Lady in the Water herself who helped him. Rather, it was him feeling a sense of purpose by helping her that helped him. I've watched such crap lately. Batman vs. Superman anyone? The hate for this movie was undeserved.

It's absolutely one of my favorite movies ever. I don't know why it gets so much hate. It's a beautiful story.
