I just watched the DVD commentary..
Was anybody else annoyed as hell by Vince Vaughn? He just kept talking on and on.. without letting Jennifer speak!!
It woulda been ok too if he was funny.. but he just kept explaining the FRICKING SCRIPT!!!!
I was like, 'AAAAAAHHHH let Jen say something!!!''

Vince has a tendency to talk alot, much like most of the characters he plays. I personally think his fast-paced rambling is funny though.

But on this commentary, he just talked in a really low monotone miserable wanna be corporate voice... and whenever Jen was about to say something kept cutting her off.
Seriously he didnt make ONE joke throughout the whole thing!!!

They were both disappointing. I expected to be bored and even annoyed by Jennifer Aniston. She's always struck me as uptight and over-rated.
But I didn't expect Vince Vaughn to sound so dull. It was kind of sad. His rambling seemed more out of discomfort than any sort of arrogance. Maybe he depends more on scripts than we realize. When he appears on talk shows, he does better, but I think it's clear that he plans what he's going to say ahead of time.
If you look at the DVD extras, Favreau was the one doing all the improv. I think the impression that Vaughn is an improv guy is overblown.
