The Polish thing...
Gary wears a poland T-shirt several times in the movie, and has a poland mug! Is this just a character thing or some meaning/ref?
One of the added features on the DVD is a tour of Chicago(?) in which they place a cast member at one of a series of locations and have him talk about it. Cole Hauser was given the place where the brothers worked (bus station?) He made a point of calling attention to a flag of Poland on the wall. He said that the 3 brothers were "Polacks". Either he said something about Chicago having the largest Polish population outside of Poland, or some text on the screen said it.
