what's the diff between 'his' version and 'hers' n the DVD

I rented the DVD last night and my girlfriend and I noticed we can choose either his or her version before the movie starts...we watched his version. We are wondering if it's worth spending the time watching her version? Is it almost like a totally different movie?

I found a review from when the DVD was released and this it what it said about the two sides:

"Viewers will find conflict as soon as the DVD and HD-DVD opens. You’ll get to pick a “his side” or “her side” to watch the film. It’s the same movie no matter what you pick, but can’t you picture couples fighting for the remote?"

I watched this alone, so no arguing over which to watch.

The problem is, I was convinced there were two versions.

I decided to watch 'his' version first. Even at the end I thought that was long, I wonder if 'her' version is as long.

I was confused when the menu just gave me the option of Bonus material etc. I switched off, witched on again, chose 'her' version, and was gutted to find it was exactly the same.

I really wish I'd looked here first.

Menu is different... music, animation... its just a "his" or "hers" version of the menu, but the movie remain the same. Would be silly to have 2 different version of the movie and make people choosed like that.

But i agree sometimes its unclear. When i get a dvd that has the uncut version, i always watch the uncut... usually they let you decided before the movie start, or you choose as you load the menu. But when i watched "Get him to the greek" i noticed you had to go trough option and setting to enable the uncut... so damn dumb. I mean... i didn't know it was like that so i watched the normal version and at the end i was like "damn the cover said it had the theatrical and uncut version... why i didn't had to choose" After 5-10 minutes of searching i found it..
