Good thing they sold the condo

In 2006 when this movie was made the housing bubble was at the peak. They sold at the perfect time. Had they stayed together the condo would be worth 30% to 50% less right now. So financially speaking, breaking up was the best move they could have made.

I saw the movie recently and was thinking the same thing. It's kind of funny watching it now and seeing their Realtor talk about how the place could only go up in value, and knowing that in about a year or so real estate prices would be going down the toilet.

I suspect the condo would be worth much more than it was in 2008 today.
