Heartbreaking
The scene at the rock concert when Vince didn't turn up hurt my heart! :-(
I'm a male, not that it matters, just to let you all know for info.

to me it was just one more example of her not communicating properly and expecting him to read her mind. it's been a while, but the conversation when she invites him was all very casual and non-committal. yet in her mind it wasn't.
shareThe most painful thing in the world is to watch one member of a couple tell the other they've been telling the other something over and over again and just can't do it anymore… when the communication was never clearly presented.
Its often (but not always) the woman who feels the man should have read "the hints" she was giving when in fact she needs to be obvious and just spell it out.
For some reason couples feel they can't communicate like that, and scenarios like this are almost always the result, whether break-ups or divorces.
If you're in a relationship, do yourself a favor and make a date to once every two or three months, take a night, have a sit down, and hash any pending hurts out… before they have a chance to become big ones.
That whole scene in the bedroom is so sad. They finally talk out their issues but it's too late.
shareI agree, it was sad. It got to the point that I wanted her to put a note on the refrigerator with information he needed to know. This may have been a doomed relationship anyways because they didn't have much in common.
shareI truly found this upsetting as well .. This moment was horrible - but really right through the film all I could think was "if one of you backed down and said sorry you guys would be ok" but it tended to be one backed down when the other didn't - the saddest thing is is that a lot of relationships probably end because of this. I saw a great deal of similarities in my own relationship of 13 years (now married four kids) that happen in this film but one of us says sorry then the other backs down really wrong , but I Spose it is "the break up" . I would also like to add I absolutely hated the vote out bowling scene you should never humiliate a man like that no matter how angry you are
