Why I always re-edit my posts

I'm sure this topic has come up multiple times and has left people wondering, I might as well explain.

In a nutshell, I have/had severe OCD, one of which involves grammar of course. At its worst (year 2007 or so), I was opening and closing a door 80-90 times to make sure it was shut. I was counting the number of strands of hair on my head (scalp) every day to make sure that I was not losing hair prematurely. Was also washing my hands repeatedly. All that wasted 10+ hours of my life on a daily basis.

Enough to make Vincent Rowlings (The Big Wheel), Mark Gregory (Charm and Harm), Clara Hayes (Compulsion) all look very tame by comparison. Heck, at times, I felt that Wallace Hines (The Inspiration) was a normal human being compared to me.

After I was situated (and sedated) on the correct medication as well as counseling, I was too tired to do most of that stuff so I just didn't give a darn a lot of the time afterwards.


You get the idea, this is probably TMI for a lot of folks but I'm sure lots have wondered about my habit and it's the god's honest truth.
