Film released in USA???
Does anyone know if the film will be shown in the United States???
I'd love to see it.
I just saw it on HBO in México and was impressed that Wallis was portrayed as a much more sympathetic character than I remember; perhaps she really was at least to some extent an innocent party, but I doubt it.
The story of Queen Elizabeth's parents was titled "Bertie and Elizabeth", giving King George VI's 'family name' first. This tale is called "Wallis and Edward" emphasizing who was the dominant partner -- and not using the name by which Edward VIII was known to his family (David).
