shareI think Sierra's episode was one of the saddest I've ever seen. Just her condition was so awful that even when she was momentarily "better" (when she got out of the hospital), she was still speaking nonsense. Her times of clarity weren't even clarity. Sure the things she was saying seemed "funny" at first, but much less so when you realized that it was literally a constant stream that she couldn't escape from. Even more shocked than I was that she went to treatment, I was floored when they followed up and she was speaking in normal coherent sentences. It must've been scary inside her brain.
shareYes!!! I just didnt understand why they weren't. To me it didn't make sense she is over 18 but she clearly not in the right state of mind so sad
shareHow did she get started on drugs?

What was she ever even saying?
"Where is mercy hospital? My baby just got pregnant last night?"
"Do you like documentaries? I like pictures"
"Alicia Keys"
"Cinnamon toast crunch. It's CTC"
"Baby rape"
Wtf?
Boredom is bullsh#t.
Sierra's babbling rants were because of taking the meth. from the words you posted I can almost guess what she was talking about and doing during her high
Sierra ate some cinnamon toast crunch while listening to an Alicia keys song. then she watched a documentary about babies. sadly she then watched "A Serbian Film"
Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today
Hello,
I was a hard drug user once in my life, mostly smoking cocaine. I still use marijuana and I do get alcohol intoxicated between three and five times a month, maybe more if situations are suitable. I went to rehab about 20 years ago, and found it to be a bunch of hogwash. I went to the rehab to medically and psychologically get me off the crack cocaine, and was instead fed a bunch of Twelve Step garbage and being told I have a "disease". Eventually, I got off of crack by leaving the country.
Off the subject, but I have experimented with meth three times, once back in the early 1990's and twice in the 00's. Frankly, I do not get meth at all or why people like doing it. The last time, I was full of negative energy, paranoid to the point where I thought people were staring through the security hole in my door, through the windows (although I lived in a high rise building with no ledge. Couldn't rest, couldn't sleep. I was just WIRED for hours and hours and hours and hours. I was seeing shadows in the walls. In short, I do not get people who want to be on a drug that makes one feel like that.
I have never done heroin (and wont), but I get heroin. From all I have seen and heard, it is a drug that RELAXES the user. People high on heroin just chill out, sleep, nod off, and allow the drug to give them a warm ephoroia. Problem is that sh.t is physically addicting, and it makes people do insane, criminal stuff to just get another high. These people remind me of my crack times, stealing, cheating, forgery, whatever.
I still use marijuana. I just "dosed" myself now. Marijuana is wonderful. I tell people, don't use "hard drugs", use marijuana.I like alcohol, but 90 percent of the time the hangover is hell (and relieved by marijuana). I just do not get a drug that makes people anxious, hyper, paranoid and insane. I do not get meth at all. Clue me in.
I too was a hard drug user, and am now a counselor. My drugs of choice were meth and weed, although I used pretty much anything I could get my hands on. Like all drugs, meth sucks you in by being fun at first, and then it turns on you. You feel energetic, creative, inspired, motivated, all that good stuff. But then you get hooked (I was shooting up, so getting hooked was inevitable) and even if you realize you are losing your mind, you are addicted, so you need more.
Anyway, the 12-steps are not for everyone, and total abstinence is not for everyone either. You gotta do what works for you.
However, don't fool yourself into thinking that marijuana is harmless. It causes brain damage, lung damage, memory loss, and it IS addicting, both mentally and physically. I get that in the scheme of things it is not as bad as harder drugs, but it is still a drug, bottom line.
Yeah it was a word salad of *beep*
shareIt seriously pissed me off they kept having her arrested and thrown in jail when she needed to be hospitalized. So sad people have to go through that. Glad she finally got the help she needed
shareThey needed to put her (or someone like her) in a white rubber room until she comes down off of the effects of the drug. She is not going to lay down and sleep (because she can't because of the drug) and she is not going to be hungry until a day after the most recent application of the drug "wears off" as it were.
Isn't there another drug that you could give them to offset the speed of meth so the person can actually calm down enough to sleep. When I was off my rocks on that sh.t, I would have loved for something that would have calmed me down and let me lay down and rest.
This episode was wild!! Cristy was waaaaaay out there but even she was still functional enough to go strip.
I knew nothing about meth psychosis and truly had no idea you could tweak that damn long without taking more... but she seemed just as high when she got out of jail as when she went in.... and did she really say she was like that for a FEW MONTHS once??
Insane.
