The Closeup shot of the Blooddrop after Enslin hurt his arm

Hi!

I watched 1408 again on noticed that When Enslin got his hand hurt he went to make a phone call to reception. Did anyone else notice the Closeup shot of a drop of blood dropping on the carpet.

Was the the final seal which made Enslin trapped inside the room?
I guess that would explain the closeup shot.

You know, The room got the taste of his blood and that sealed his fate.
