Does this remind anyone else of Evil Dead 2?

Quite often, throughout the film, I thought of the first half of Evil Dead 2 which is pretty much just the main character, Ash, trapped alone in a cabin with his thoughts, and the horrors of the cabin.

It shows him his dead girlfriend coming back to life, plays tricks on him with mirrors until he finds he's strangling himself, turns every item in the room into something laughing at him, and so on.

Even some of the music and sound cues sounded like they might be sampled from that film.

When Enslin notice the cracks on the wall oozing blood (or whatever that was), I half-expected it to suddenly starting spraying him with an absolute deluge as an homage to ED2.

It just made me think back to that one man show of a man trapped inside a few square metres, quickly going mad with the torment, which, to me, is no bad thing.
