1408 is really 1308

Samuel L. Jackson said "They pretend there isn't a problem, just like they pretend there isn't a 13th Floor" or something to that effect. It is true that many hotels floors go from 12 to 14, especially in Asia. 13 being a bad luck number. If that is the case, 1408 is really 1308. 1408 being 14th Floor, 8th Room, is really the 13th Floor, 8th Room. Not sure why it matters, but just something I picked up on.

Buildings usually skip 4 and 13

Just to mention, there is no such thing as a bad luck number. There is no number that is unlucky in general. Anyone who thinks there's something unlucky about a number, isnt playing with a full deck.
