It does seem weird that we've heard so little about it so far. My theory is that since it seemed to test badly at Chatsworth (somebody mentioned that in the prescreening thread), they're doing some major reworking and don't want to reveal too much yet in case it changes.

Well, to be honest I'm just guessing here. All I know is that some movies go through pretty drastic changes even in post-production. I agree that a poster or some stills couldn't hurt though.
shareMany movies do go through a lot of changes, I agree with that. I believe the chadwick screening was the type of screening was pre-special effect. So they need to add whatever they need to add to it (maybe more gore, the ghoul etc). So the movie will definitely be different at least as far as the special affects is concerned.
I'm not sure what other re-work a movie would need. Unless they added some scenes that were deleted. And maybe a name change will happen.
And if 19 years old don't like it, there are plenty of over 25 crowd that like a different type of horror and might appreciate it more. I heard 2 reviews by over 30 crowd and they liked it.
I for one, can't wait to see it.
But, I actually think the reason is because of the strike. I think it may have been pushed back, like some other movies. If hollywood wasn't making movies for a few months, then they have to scatter what movies they did to fill the year out.

That makes sense. I didn't even think about the strike, which is probably a major factor too. I really hope they don't try to 'dumb down' the story or tone to get the popcorn crowd. I'm planning to see it in any case since I like the leads and I'm a major horror buff.
shareI've been in touch with the production company, I work for Henrycavillfan.com and they told me that it is being sent to the distributor in April, so hopefully I can get some info posted on HCF in April or May, but no promises yet.
