They've screened this ages ago, but still postponing til April?

So if you check henrycavillfan.com/ or even Dominic P's fansites. You know they're pushing the release date from Nov to April 09.

I can understand not wanting Nov, as HP and TWilight are those months. They pretty much will be top contenders.

But April? Isn't the beginning of the year always the "graveyard" season for movies? Where studios dump their films there if they can predict poor turnover. Maybe April's not included in that category. Still I'm confused.

April isn't that bad, especially towards the end where things are gearing up towards May. A lot of big movies open in May.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with when Hunger opens. Maybe they are hoping Michael Fassbender would be better known by then, so they can have 3 bigger names instead of just two? Still, it sucks that we have to wait another 9 months for it, instead of 4 =(

April is when they usually start each new season of The Tudors. Maybe they are hoping to cash in on Henry Cavill publicity then?
