Can someone please explain what is going on. Is Dominion like a re make of the beginning because someone said "the beginning sucked, lets make it right?" i'm so confused on what is going on. please help.

Dominon is the first version of the prequel. Exorcist the Beginning is the 2nd version made. Of course, this doesn't include the one where the other director died during the shoot.
