The Ideal Ending For Me(In both prequels)

I was always hoping for this since the rumors for the prequel. In the aftermath after everything is all said and done. for which ever prequel suits you best.At the end. you see Father Merrin's exit stage left(or out the door), a fade to black, then you see the door open and the back of max von sydow(or lookalike) enter the room with the voice saying "Merrin..". Havent heard anybody else say this but I doubt I'm the only one. Anybody else got one or agree??? Do post.

I don't agree with the idea. I see where you're coming from, but in my mind a prequel should be its own film, not just two hours of backstory for something that's been out for three days. Still, William Wisher was on the same track. In his first draft script for "Exorcist: Dominion," the last shot was Chris MacNeil opening the door and Merrin walking in from the original film.
