Dog Fashion Disco's contribution to the score
I'm just wondering what everyone's opinion on the job that Dog Fashion Disco did in scoring the last 3rd of the film and the ending title theme, Satan's March. Dog Fashion Disco is my absolute favorite band, and I was absolutely STOKED to hear that they would be working on the music for the film. I was absolutely blown away by what they did. It really shows a whole new side to them. Satan's March is very eerie and fits the movie perfectly. Anyway, if you like their work, I recommend you at least give the rest of their music a chance. This is one band that definitely deserves recognition. They have a new CD that is being released on April 4th called Adultery. I've heard it already, and it is quite possibly one of the most amazing CDs I have ever heard. We've got more fantastic cello work by Jasan (the guitar player). And for those of you who were fans of Satan's March, you'll be pleased to know there is another ominous, eerie song on the CD entitled Dead Virgins Don't Sing. Anyway, yeah...definitely give these guys a listen, because they really deserve it. It was with Paul Schrader's help that they got signed to Rotten Records. Thank you, Paul.
