Which language is it? Ancient Greek?
shareSorry, I don't recall. My GUESS would be, yes, Greek, since it was the Emperor who sent the forces to build the church on top of the "cursed" site. The Emperor was at that time operating from the East, out of Constantinople, which had become the Empire's new capital with Constantine, and his clergy would mostly have been Greek-speakers, and their liturgy would have been Greek.
There is a chance that the words might be Latin, because Latin was becoming the official Church language in the West. If the curse-lifting forces had a contingent of Latin priests or monks, perhaps they would have written the inscriptions in Latin? Just a guess.
It all looks Greek to me.
