What is your favorite 'road trip/adventure' movie?

What is your favorite "road trip/adventure/get-away-from-it-all" movie? I don't really know exactly how to label it, but this sub-genre is my favorite type of movie when it's made correctly.

My favorites are Last Stop for Paul and The Beach.

Anyone care to input?

Don't forget to watch Into The Wild, that's probably THE BEST road movie, I also like The Beach and there are many other road movies - Darjeeling Limited, Broken Flowers, Transamerica, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (well maybe this one is also really good), Little Miss Sunshine, The Motorcycle Diaries, O Brother Where art Thou, Rain man, Sideways, The Straight Story, Y Tu Mamá También...

Wim Wenders has done some great roadtrip/adventure movies. My favourite of his, and probably the best roadtrip film I've seen, is Until the End of the World which starts in Europe, moves across Asia, Japan, hops to America briefly, then ends in Australia. It's 5 hours long but worth every minute.

A fun little roadtrip film I recently saw, though much smaller in scope than the above, is Grand Theft Parsons set in the desert of Nevada I think it was.

And if you want roadtrip with a capital 'R', look no further than The Brown Bunny, one of the most hated films on imdb. But I loved it.
