Just amazing and it brings tears to my eyes. Which is why the main theme has been sampled in quite a few movies since its release!

The soundtrack is amazing and is probably my pick for the most memorable score of the past decade, but I would say the pitch-perfect cast and Danny Boyle's brilliant direction are equally on par with the music.
shareThe score is stunning esp "Kanadas Death". I agree it's tied with Inceptions score for me as best in the last decade. The film as a whole Has become one of my top five fav sci-fi. Just a wonderful work.
shareI completely agree and can't stop thinking about the film. I spotted it coming on last night, I couldn't sleep. I was hooked into the film right away. I got more than I hoped for and really enjoyed this. The cast and acting in this were excellent. Mace was a really great character I thought and Chris Evans played it perfect. I always thought he was a good actor. But, he really seemed extra enveloped and totally believable as Mace. The cinematography and the CGI were incredibly stunning. Capa falling in the suit and struggling against time to get up was great. Definitely one of my favorite scenes in the film, his face pours frustration. Everyone in it was excellent to their full capacity of acting. They turned the sun into a god which was a very interesting concept to me. I can't stop thinking about the film so I'm writing about it.

The moment when the soundtrack and the timer is counting down is very breath taking. i love this part!
In the Movie The thing when Kate at the end is near the stage power sources there is a familiar sound. Listen and you can here the distress call from " Sunshine " beeping a few times. It it not the 100% same it is mixed a bit.
