Sunshine vs Dark Star: Pinbacker, Pinback?
Anyone else notice this similarity?
The crew of Dark Star also became somewhat... dysfunctional...
And they were using super-bombs....
In Dark Star though, Pinback did not become insane.
I remember Pinback in Darkstar recorded a video log and revealed that his name wasn't Pinback. He said the real Pinback went insane on the launch pad, prior to the launch of Darkstar, and jumped in to a vat of liquid oxygen.
Then a replacement was sought in a hurry just prior to launch and he took on Pinback's duties.
I don't know the name of the character prior to taking on the identity of Pinback.
