So why did this fail at the Box Office?

Lack of advisement?

I think that makes sense - I would have loved to have seen this at the cinema! There didn't appear to be a lot of promotion for this film.

Considering my own experience, I would say that mouth-to-ear woul be quite horrible and discouraging

Too intelligent for the unwashed masses.

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.

reply

Are you *beep* joking me? Too intelligent?! This movie was like something a 5 year old would have written.

I was actually enjoying it until it decided to become a horror movie and introduce 1,000 unrealistic plot points with the surviving captain from Icarus I.

It was completely unnecessary and destroyed any enjoyment that could have been had out of this schlock.

I typically give a pass to this kind of weird *beep* but this was like "Spiderman 3 dance scene" levels of unacceptable *beep*

I agree with this, this movie is very uniquely made which unforntaly does not fit with the fast & furious audience

"Advisement"?

The movie was never released in theaters in the US. England only, from what I recall. It should get a US release. Today.

reply

It eventually was released in the stated.

reply

Nah it did. I saw it in theaters, but it was a limited release

Son, that's not a rainbow, that's just the light reflecting off some baboon's waxed ass.

reply

I'm guessing a problem with the film from a marketing point of view is definition - sci-fi drama vs claustrophobic horror.

reply

Not to mention the plot line revolves around a religious maniac. A lot of people are not to hip with having their religious belief portrayed that way.

reply

It was a limited release. 400 screens(U.S.) compared to 4,200 screens for "Captain America: Civil War". I never had heard of this movie until about a year or so ago.
