Mace (Chris Evans) was right all along!

IMHO Mace was the most interesting and smartest character of the film. He was correct in that they shouldn't alter their course AND once again correct when he told the on-board computer Icarus to continue the repair of the sheilds tho' dooming the Japanese captain (with his consent and aggreement). The MISSION was the over riding concern and the argument that 2 bomb payloads were better than 1 was faulty i.e. if the technology didn't work the 1st time it wouldn't work a 2nd...everything else including BOTH crews lives were expendable. Period. This was no shock to them as it was in the first Alien film, the crews of The Icarus 1 & 2 in Sunshine departed Earth KNOWING this ominous possibility.
