Shazam May end up being a Massive Hit....
Reviews are going to be Great...IMO they may be the highest of any DC films...
If the budget is around 80 Million...Its probably going to make a great profit...
I have no clue how its going to perform over seas...
But domestically I think Its going to have incredible Legs...
tracking has in right now Opening around 48 to 65 Million....
I think Thats going to really go up in the weeks last 2 weeks because I think WOM and reviews are going to be Overwhelmingly positive.
I think Shazam may open over 80 Million...
and I think domestically its total could end up being over 300 M and maybe close to 330 or 340 M
Overseas, Its entirely up to China...
I could see a 200 to 250 Million gross from all other markets...
but china is the question mark....could it really break out like Aquaman and have a 150 M+ gross?
Hell even a 100 M+ total would be great..
Its also possible though it could just completely miss and make a Sub 100 M total in China
I think a 600 Million + total is likely for Shazam....and Possibly 700 M if it hits in China and Reviews are as good as I think domestically
bottom line....Shazam Looks like it was made by Marvel Studios, Theres isnt a hint of Snyders dark,depressing,joyless and colorless DCEU...this is DC completely Copying Marvel Studios tone and Blueprint...and IMO its going to pay off...I think with Shazam, They got a great concept that hasnt really been done before with The Superhero being a Kid...thankfully WB made the right creative choices in developing it, My god I cant imagine the trainwreck we would have right now if Synder was involved and this movie was made with his tones
