shareIt's used shamelessly and vulgarly in Knowing for sentimental effect. That movie had potential but dies before your very eyes. A much more effective and dramatic usage of the Allegretto can be found in John Boorman's loony but intriguing Zardoz. I actually used the choral version of the Allegretto played over the opening credits in Zardoz to score one of my student films.
