Here on imdb it says that two twelve-year-old kids run away from home. But if they are twelve, why does Cayden Boyd play one of them if he is still like eleven? He'll be a good lead, but I'm just confused why he is the lead!

shareBy the time the movie is made, they will both be 12. I'm not sure when they will start filming, but AnnaSophia is already 12 (her birthday was on December 12) and Cayden will be 12 on May 24, so I guess they are going to start filming after then.
shareEven if they were to be filming now/before they were 12, but were 11, it's pretty easy to make up a year in make-up/wardrobe! I'm 30, and I could play a young college (19-21) role, MAYBE even younger. Or, they could make me look older, so it's not like it is a rule that the actor(ess) HAS to be the same age as what the story has them at.
