Yes but I still agree with xxlauragirlxx, having 11 year olds making out is over reacting a bit. I mean 11 year olds don't really have the time to accually fall in love. You see what i'm saying. I think what she is trying to say is that no 11 year old or 12 year old would accually make out maybe a peck but making out is going way too far. Yeah it's just a movie but what ever happens in the movie does happen in real life.
I love AnnaSofia and Dakota. Very Adorable

oh, cayden better not be making out with her. If he does, I will not see the movie. Because I mean really and 12 year olds who make out is just plain wrong. I'm 12 and i have never made out, never kissed anyone, or anything like that. If they make them make out there is either something wrong with the world today, or something wrong with me.
It just could be rated Pg-13 for Adventure Peril and Mild Violence or possibly a little something to do with like maybe a momentary drug refrence or sex refrence.
shareIt is. The plot outline is that Robb and Boyd's characters, two twelve-year-olds, run away from home after a tragedy and fall in love. Why it is called a children's story, I have no clue.

I WOULD DIE IF THERE WAS A LOVE STORY AND IF THEY MADE OUT!!! A millisecond kiss on the cheek is okay but nothing more than that.
shareKids are most definitly making out at age 11. Not all, not many, maybe, but it happens.
If girls are getting pregnant age 12 & 13 (and they are, sometimes), trust me, they ~just~ may make out a year or two before that, eh?
Just because this 10 year old thinks (or thinks maybe there is making out between these two in the movie) does not make him stupid, as you've called him.
True love between kids? Not likely, but not impossible, either. That doesn't mean they'd get married young, you know. Love can reach people in all different ways & times - and places. Love does not equal marriage or sex, etc.

What do y'all think of this- how it might apply?

If anyone watches Coronation Street, Rosie and Craig went too far. The production company got a lot of complaints.
"I'm talking 'bout a whole lotta history"-- Girls Aloud
Good grief, I think the administrators got a bit "delete-happy"!!!!!!
There wasn't THAT much wrong on this thread! There may've been a few posts, but nothing outrageous!!!
I just LOVE how they leave up flaming outright attacks at each other on the boards, but this thread actually stayed fairly straight as I recall (a few deviations, perhaps, but nothing too far).
No sense at all!
Gotta love censorship.....

Probably. On AnnaSophia's old site she said it's not really a children's story, it's more of an adult movie.
"Beauty is in the EYE of the Beholder"
That's what I heard too. And they kiss in their underwear or something, but I don't know about making out. It's about the children rather than for children, isn't it? They run away from abusive lives together?

I have seen the beginning from youtube and the mom is bisexual. It has a part with her flirting with Marlo Brandon(Don Corleone) who is fixing a water pipe, some other actor fixing the roof, and Audry Hephburn orginzing the books in the libray. Yea that was weird.
Have a day
I have seen this movie (Thanks to YouTube), and I'll fill you in on all the details.
Parents Guide style:
Sexual content:
Two kids who fall in love, and have an unofficial marriage.
Ben's mom is a bisexual who has affairs with men and women who resemble celebrities, such as Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, and Audrey Hepburn. Ben (narrating) quickly stops the latter by saying, "On second thought, I'd rather not get into that one."
Cassie briefly kisses Ben on his cheek after the wedding, but that's pretty much it.
Before she goes to bed one night, Cassie takes off her jacket.
Ben looks away, and she tells him, "Don't worry, I'm not ready to have sex yet."
Violence & Gore:
Cassie is shown with a bloody face after a car accident.
Cassie has a broken arm for a good half of the movie.
A scene where Cassie's arm is bloody from throbbing.
Language:
A couple uses of the words "H-ll", "Da-n" (With and without God), "S--t", and "a--"
Some mild name calling, "Go screw yourself."
Alcohol & Drugs:
Cassie reveals early in the movie that her father was a drinker.
Ben and Cassie ride in a van full of hippies who smoke cigarettes.
Cassie's Aunt and Uncle are shown moderately drinking and smoking.
Frightening scenes:
Cassie fakes a seizure.
Cassie has a mental breakdown one night while dancing with her uncle.
A nightmare Cassie continually has is very disturbing.
--------------------------------
So, this is not just a "Kid's Movie."
Altogether, I'd say a safe PG-13 for language, brief sexuality, and some disturbing images.
