I have seen this movie (Thanks to YouTube), and I'll fill you in on all the details.

Parents Guide style:

Sexual content:
Two kids who fall in love, and have an unofficial marriage.

Ben's mom is a bisexual who has affairs with men and women who resemble celebrities, such as Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, and Audrey Hepburn. Ben (narrating) quickly stops the latter by saying, "On second thought, I'd rather not get into that one."

Cassie briefly kisses Ben on his cheek after the wedding, but that's pretty much it.

Before she goes to bed one night, Cassie takes off her jacket.
Ben looks away, and she tells him, "Don't worry, I'm not ready to have sex yet."

Violence & Gore:
Cassie is shown with a bloody face after a car accident.

Cassie has a broken arm for a good half of the movie.

A scene where Cassie's arm is bloody from throbbing.

Language:
A couple uses of the words "H-ll", "Da-n" (With and without God), "S--t", and "a--"

Some mild name calling, "Go screw yourself."

Alcohol & Drugs:
Cassie reveals early in the movie that her father was a drinker.

Ben and Cassie ride in a van full of hippies who smoke cigarettes.

Cassie's Aunt and Uncle are shown moderately drinking and smoking.

Frightening scenes:
Cassie fakes a seizure.

Cassie has a mental breakdown one night while dancing with her uncle.

A nightmare Cassie continually has is very disturbing.

Altogether, I'd say a safe PG-13 for language, brief sexuality, and some disturbing images.
