This movie is toast....

Was first called Have Dreams, Will Travel, then sat on the shelf because it sucked and no one wanted to put it in theatres then the name was changed to West Texas Childrens Story and still no one would buy it so it sat around another year or so then was renamed West Texas Lullaby (awful!) and they reshot some landscape scenes (Without the real actors -- stand-ins!) and changed their production company's name as if no one will notice that its' the same piece of crap that's been growing mold on the shelf for three years.

Look for it on Lifetime in 2010. What a joke.

You're an idiot. Judging a film by it's name? isn't that even worse than judging a book by it's cover. This is one of the most brilliant and under-rated films I've ever seen. And it's one of those films that's better because it's so unknown, so that when you see it, you really feel like you've glimpsed something special.

Let the game begin...

Someone has roid rage :o I'm happy to have picked up this film from Brazil in import form. I love it, and it covers a lot of my interests: AnnaSophia Robb, mental hospitals, running away, baseball, intelligent dialogue. It's a welcome part of my DVD collection.
