I'm a bit of a fan of Alexandre Desplat. In The Painted Veil soundtrack, what is the name of the jazzy instrumental tune (clarinet &/or sax) which is playing as Kitty, following her hub, enters Waddington's house, when Waddington (played by the fabulous Toby Jones) & his Chinese girl are getting stoned?

This tune was also used (again, uncredited) in the ST for Oliver Stone's 'Nixon'. I've a friend who's been trying to find out for years! It sounds a bit like a Sidney Bechet tune but it's unfamiliar to me.

Turner Classic Movies also uses it as a little bridge before announcing what's playing. I'll try my Shazam app on it; I'm curious too.
