Just watched the film on Netflix but y was it called the painted veil?

I believe it was called "Painted Veil" in a sense because of the covering around the beds because of the bugs. Yet it could deeply have to do with their poignant relationship. Unrequited love, jumps into my head fssr. One of my favorites.

Yeah me too. The scenery made me really miss living in China and Shanghai. The country side there is simply amazing.

I loved the film as well. Great cast, well written, gorgeous photography. Can't ask for anything more than that.

I've skipped over this film on cable many times, I'm so glad I finally gave it a chance. Beautiful.
