Although it is a Disney film, I always wondered why it omits the fact that Vince Papale played in the WFL for the Philadelphia Bell in 1974 and 1975?
shareIt makes a better story this way. Nothing in the movie ever indicates that Vince had any organized football experience of any kind. Now, since you tell us he played two years of pro ball, I'm not as impressed with his accomplishments. That's why Disney chose not to give us all of the facts. Thanks for the WFL info.
