I own the German RC2 disc. I'm disappointed about this release, the aspect ratio switches from 2,35:1 to 1,85:1 after the opening credits. It's like watching the movie with the player's zoom funktion enabled. What's the aspect ratio of the RC1 disc?

I got it when it first came out--I was living in Philadelphia from 1973 to 1981 when the whole thing was happening. Of course it didn't happen just like it did in the movie as is pointed out in many other posts. The whole time I lived in Philly, the only game I ever attended was the one against the Cincinatti Bengals portrayed at the beginning of the movie. I remember that day because my upstairs neighbor had just given me two tickets not ten minutes after one of my college fraternity brothers had invited me to a Flyers game that evening. He and his wife had season tickets through his job and she was sick that day. The game was played in the afternoon, not at night as it was in the movie and it didn't snow during the game but it did earlier in the week. At least the Flyers won that night--I think they beat the St. Louis Blues 6-1.

I wont buy it because I didnt like the yellow filter they used to make the movie feel aged. Just watched a netflix Blu-ray version and the yellow filtering reduced the colors and made a it look like a standard DVD. Plus I dont like the 2:35:1 black bars on the widescreen hdtv movies, which this one is.
