Colombo's Cheesesteak

Never heard of Colombos-
It looks like Genos or Pats Outside sitting area does anyone know where it was shot?

reply

IMDb says it's Geno's, and I think they're right. I noticed that places named in the movie weren't familiar Philly names; may have cost too much to use actual place names. If they used real names, it would have been Geno's, Pat's or Tony Luke's.

2nd that on jims

reply

On South st. right?
That almost automatically disqualifies it from the cheesesteak wars; unless you're under 30.

If Jim's wants to run, it should be in the Passyunk ave. trenches with the rest of them.

Get outta here ya half-a-sissy 'for I give ya a slap.

reply

Jim's was originally opened in in West Philly first in 1939 and they are still there too. That doesn't count!

reply

Its on the corner of East Passyunk ave and South Juniper street. But, now it's a trendy hipster restaurant...but I forget the name.
