3:10 to Yuma? Anyone? No? Yes?
The story of the average Joe, the average Joe's rebellious son, and the lunatic criminal who falls into the average joe's hands by random circumstances.
Both films have an average Joe who feels he has something to prove--especially to his son.
Both film's bad guys have evil henchmen in hot pursuit, who kill innocents without mercy.
Both films have scenes where the criminal turns on the average joe and almost kill him but the average joe's son saves the day by grabbing the gun and telling the criminal to stop.
Both films have scenes where the henchmen catch up to the main characters who are holed up in some building, and in both movies, the bad guys yell to the good guys to just give up and let the bad guy go.
In both films, we see that the main bad guy ends up "seeing the light" as they both yell "NO!" when their henchmen assail his captors.
I'm sure someone can think of more ridiculous similarities between these two.
I was very let-down with 3:10 to yuma and I was even more let down to see a modern-day in-the-woods copy off of it.
