Such a fuss about Lopez
There's such a fuss about Lopez going on around here. As though everything hinges on her. May I remind folks that there is another actor in this movie who can help this film gain success (if this film is good): Antonio Banderas? He's got a strong fan base and he's definitely a much better actor than she is. He's not a huge box-office draw, but in the eyes of the general public, he's far more appealing than the diva Lopez.
Besides him, there's also Martin Sheen, who has his own appeal in the public eye. I think he's great. Between the two of them, they bring just as much, and probably more, star power to this movie than Lopez, and they're certainly more respected actors.
I'm sure there are people who will want to see this because she's in it, but maybe more people will want to see it because Banderas's in it. I didn't know about this movie until I heard Banderas was in it. Then, reading about it, made me want to see it because of him and Martin Sheen and because of the subject matter.
