Saw it yesterday... (Spoilers)

Me and my friends went to a sneak preview yesterday, and the guy who did the introduction already adviced us to see one of the other movies in the cinema. If we had known how bad the movie actually is, we would have done just that!!

Jennifer Lopez is just a bad actress, the script was really poor and the only sad thing is that the serious purpose was therefore overlaid by all this crap. Why does J.Lo's character have to have her own, extremely tragic background story, isn't the fate of all of these women touching enough??? Why the party and Juanes????? It just doesn't fit!!! With 5000 raped and murdered women, who cares whether that Salamandras guy is rubbish in bed!!! I could go on and on with a lot of annoying, unlogical and unintentionally funny examples, but to sum it up, I can understand why it was booed at the Berlinale.

A noble purpose doesn't excuse a bad film!

Strange that you think she's such a bad actress.

She was great in 'U-Turn', even better in 'Blood And Wine' and brilliant in 'Out Of Sight'.

She was more than promising in 'Selena'.

I think that because she has become such a huge celebrity, people scrutinise her for all the wrong reasons.

Jennifer Lopez is talented. That doesn't mean her movies are always good, or she always makes the right script decisions, but she has talent as an actress.

5000? Try about 350 over thirteen years... which is a high murder rate, but given Juarez' "bordertown/frontier" conditions (the result of the Maquiladora plants), not outragously high.

While, yes, more attention should be paid to the REAL situation, making outragous statements based on a bad Hollywood movie is irresponsible.
