I´ve only seen the trailer

And may I say i´m glad that I don´t live in Germany. The trailer was dubbed into German..Why is that so? Germans & Italians do this a lot with big Hollywood productions, whats wrong with subtitles in German, French, Spanish etc.?
The movie might be good or it might be bad one, however by slaughtering the original spoken language with bad dialogs in other language does not make any movie better. That's my opinion! I wounder how you Germans out there thinks about this issue.
I´ll guess it´s another thing with movies for children who might not be able to read subtitles because they haven´t learn to do so yet. For example Ice Age in Swedish. You loose a lot of the punchlines in the movie thou because of bad translations between English & Swedish
