is this a remake or a new story then the old ones?

This is a new movie based a real events still going on in Juarez, Mexico. Hundreds of Latin women who work on this bordertown in American factories have been killed since 1993. Investigators seem to die, vanish mysteriously or leave town. There is a major cover up going on. This is a story that needs to be told.

movies been done before by an indie lable "the Virgin of Juarez" pretty good movie . dont know how the new on is with jlo but she great anyways

La Virgin of Juarez had a totally different plotline with the reporter and the raped girl, it was very "godly" with the whole Virgin Mary thing, and worshiping this victim.
