Concerns about the Ending

I felt like the ending was very rushed. Like the issues with Jude and Lucy were very strong and serious yet they weren't exactly resolved. When Jude thought Lucy died, they could have done a lot with that scene but then it was like out of nowhere he found out she was alive. And they didn't show what made Lucy want to see Jude since the last time they saw each other, she didn't even want to look at him. Then out of nowhere they got back together? And then with Sadie and Jo-Jo, they got back together out of nowhere too. Like all Jude has to do is sing a song and everything is all magical again. Any thoughts?

you need to watch a few more times.

the argument between Jude and Lucy was over Lucy's naive involvement with "wannabe protesters", the same thing that happened to Lennon and Dylan hence their protests of Maggies Farm for Dylan and Revolution for Lennon

Revolution was therefore featured here in same context.

it was Lucy herself that came to her senses when she happened upon them building a bomb - and she disowned them on the spot and thought about Jude being totally right and her totally wrong

but he had already been kicked out of USA so she was totally lost trying to console herself by trying to help her brother who was "in the grip of Henry the Horse".

she figured she had totally screwed it up and would never see Jude again or get to apologise - then there he is

ditto for Sadie who got in with the sleaseball against her better judgement

btw notice how sleaseball is exactly same as one in Wayne's World
