Seriously, if Alvarez believes anything he's saying, like that Conor just has a left hand and his 'rock back' technique, he's in big, big trouble. Sounds to me like his coaches know exactly what the odds-makers know, and are telling him that nonsense to keep him staying positive. Anywho, good luck Eddie, you're going to need it, especially if you want to stay alive come UFC 205...

That's a tough fight to call. I like both of them, too. That said, I think Wonderboy has the advantage.

I would not have wanted to be a judge that night. There was some tough fights to call and that was one of them.

Good point, especially with six fights on the main card.

But anyway, man, I keep watching that promo and thinking to myself "Eddie was gifted that belt thanks to Herb 'Early Stoppage' Dean..." And two split decisions before that. Even if he turns his fight with Conor into a dogfight, all he has is a puncher's chance. That is, unless Herb is reffing...
