UFC Fighters/Champions with The Ability/Potential to be 2 Weight Champs

with Conor winning the LW belt and becoming a 2 weight world champ, it got me thinking.

what other UFC fighters/Champions do you believe have The Potential/Ability to be 2 weight Champions(Not simultaneously like Conor, Just winning titles at different weight classes at any point)...

Now this is kinda of an Impossible question because I dont think UFC is going to give anyone else the opportunity to do it...

But I'm asking is "Just Ability"...If Hypothetically Fighters were giving The Opportunity to do it, Which fighters could you see actually Pulling it off and having the ability to win Championships in 2 different weight classes.

For Me its...

Jon Jones(I think He could Go up to Heavyweight and win the title, If he comes backs the same fighter he was before his Suspension)

Daniel Cormier(I think DC could move up to Heavyweight and Beat any top HW and Win the belt, although It will never happen because He's such great friends with Cain)

Dominic Cruz(I think Cruz could go up to FW and beat Aldo,Edgar or Halloway, I dont think he could beat Conor, but Conor will be giving up his belt soon, So I think Cruz could beat whomever becomes the new champ)

Jose Aldo(I think Aldo could go up to LW and beat any LW in The UFC to win the belt, Including Conor or Khabib(Aldo has The greatest takedown defense I've ever seen)...I think If Conor and Aldo fought 10 times, They'd both beat each other close to 5 times each)

Anthony Johnson(This is a tricky one, I'm not sure Johnson will ever be champ in 1 weight class let alone 2...But The reason I mention him is, He can literally KO any person in The LHW or HW divisions...I dont think Johnson is skilled enough to beat the Top fighters at LHW or HW But I have zero doubt He could KO anyone...so I got to hypothetically put him on the list, for example, Johnson is fighting DC for the LHW title at UFC 206, I feel DC is the better and more skilled fighter, IMO DC should win, but Johnson could easily KO DC and win the LHW title..and Then again this wouldn't happen, but If Johnson then went straight to HW and fought Stipe for The HW title, again I would favor Stipe, but Johnson absolutely could KO Stipe...So, Skill wise, IMO Rumble isn't good enough to be a 2 weight champ, But if he was given the opportunity to skip the line like Conor, and just go straight for title shots, IMO Its possible Rumble could be a 2 weight champ given his other worldly KO Power)

Khabib Nurmagomedov(I honestly think Khabib might be able to dominate any welterweight just like he dominates LW's...His Grappling Is on such another level, I wouldn't put it past him to be able to dominate WW's too)

Conor McGregor(I think Conor could do it Twice, He's already a 2 weight World champ in the FW and LW divisions, I could see him being forced to give up the FW and and then Fighting and winning the WW belt thus having The LW and WW belts. really the would make him a 3 weight champ but givien the fact that He'd surely have to give up the FW, he'd only have 2 belts...So I could see Conor doing it twice, First becoming The FW and LW Champs...Then becoming The LW and WW champs...although in my opinion it would come down to matchups, I dont feel Conor could beat Any/all Welterweights, IMO Conor would lose to Maia and at the very least would have trouble with Lawler and Wonderboy, I think Conor beats Woodley,Cerrone or Condit)

Outside chance-

Pettis at FW...IMO not likely but not Impossible

Demetrious Johnson at BW...If Cruz gets injured again or moves up, I could see DJ winning The BW belt...But I do NOT see that happening as long as Cruz is BW champ, I'd like to see that fight but I think Cruz would beat DJ convincingly

Frankie Edgar at FW if Both Aldo and Conor were gone(But Frankie at FW is extremely unlikely now) I think he might have a better shot at BW, although I think Cruz beats him...

GSP at Middleweight...There was talk about GSP coming back to fight Bisping, I would favor GSP in that fight. but This is extremely unlikely Bisping wont be champ for too long and I think If GSP does return it will be at 170

I really like conor...He's my favorite fighter, but I wouldn't call myself a Fanboy...

"Fanboys" for me are fans that border on delusional or simply can not see things objectively due to their love or hatred for certain fighters...

thats not me, I like conor but it no way clouds my judgement or makes me biased toward him...

I dont believe or say He's the GOAT, I dont talk about how he can beat Anyone in any weight class, and when it comes to his fights I dont blindly pick him and claim he'll destroy his opponents, In fact in almost every Conor fight, I clearly see how Conor could lose the fights...

going into the Mendez,Aldo and Alvares fights, I thought they were 50/50 fights...I could easily see ways Conor could lose all of those fights...Fanboys dont think like that, they aren't objective, They believe "Their" fighter is going to win and win easily and will argue with anyone who thinks otherwise...

I'm just a massive MMA fan and Conor is my favorite fighter right now, and its 100% due to the way he fights...I actually dont really care for Conor's theatrics and Bragging...some of it is clever but some of it is brutally painful to listen to, I literally can't stand listening to him brag about his money and numbers, that sh!t gets old quick...

But I absolutely love to watch this man fight, and love his Style more than any other fighter...The Aggression he shows in his fights, His movement, striking and speed are IMO a thing of beauty, His Left Hand Is AMAZING(The Speed,timing, power and accuracy of it is as Joe Rogan says "Magical")...and I love that he goes into every fight with the absolute Certainty that he is going to get the knock out...he doesn't "Hope Or plan" to get the knock Out, No Conor goes into every fight 100% certain he's going to KO his opponent, I love that, IMO theres not another fighter in the game fighting like that right now, 95% of MMA fighters today going into fights with "Gameplans", and Specifically try to win rounds, they go for the finish if it presents itself but their main goal going in is to win fights and rounds...Conor goes into fights to KO his Opponent PERIOD...I love that...

So no I'm not a fanboy or a Conor Fanboy...

I just LOVE the way Conor fights and that makes him my favorite fighter

Dominic Cruz is my second favorite fighter for the exact same reason...I am simply in awe of Cruz's fighting style...Its Just masterful, His Movement,counter Punching, and way he mixes everything together is Beautiful...and then there is his Ability not to get hit...Its absolutely OTHERWORLDLY..

Cruz is the best there has ever been at "Hitting while not getting hit"...His ability to make opponents miss is Stunning...

I used to HATE Cruz, hate his style, I remember when he fought Faber for the first time..I was rooting for Faber so hard and watching the fight thinking "OMG Cruz is so boring"

But in the last 5 years, I've become such a big MMA fan and watched so much and learned so much, I've completely flipped when it comes to Cruz...Cruz Is ahead of his time, I now just love watching him fight because he and his style and his game is truly something special

That's good to hear, there are so many insane annoying haters constantly crying and saying salty stuff, as there are tons of delusional weird fanboys. Most YouTube videos I see now normally feature comments like

"Conor is the goat lolz! King" "Bow down to the king! Nobody can beat him lolZ!"
To
"Cyborg is a manz lolz" "fluke win!! (Crying) "Conor only beats midgets lolz" "this fighter is overrated and sucks "[after one loss]

Mma fans seem to be the most bitchy girly annoying fans going.

It's good to know there are still people who don't just hate fighters or be extreme fanboys.
