They had so many suspects and so, but why didn't they ever think that it was a group of people, not just a person.

That occurred to me too. I read a book called The Ultimate Evil, which scared the crap out of me because it was about these satanists that went around killing people. And David Berkowitz, Son of Sam, said he wasn't the only one committing the murders. He never denied killing anyone but he said he was part of a group and they made him the fall guy so they could move on to other things and not be bothered.

Yes, scary book too.

Hence the different composites, and the last one a composite of all the composites...LOL. That was kind of surprising, as we all mentioned all the composites when this was actually happening.

If I remember correctly, wasn't Zodiac mentioned in this book, that Manson and Manson II were connected and both to the Process Church, and that Bruce Davis was a suspect in the Zodiac killings as well? (I'm sorry, I want to say Manson II was Bill Metzger -- Correct?)

I'm sorry, it was years ago when I read it. I only remember the parts that scared me. Like the killing of the woman in the church, and how they did animal sacrifices. And that's because after reading it, my family went out to this park in this desert area to have a picnic and there was a dog or maybe coyote paw just there on the ground, like it had been cut off, and I wanted to go home.

Ive been wanting to read it again, but it's just too disturbing for me. Lol

Not a forerunner, a breakaway. Process was started by former Scientologists.

I never thought that it could have been more than one serial killer committing the crimes.
I guess it was because of those weird cryptic letters that the killer kept sending to the media.
But, there could have been a "copycat" killer,--- a possibility.

I LOVE to read about all the theories out there regarding who the ZODIAC could have been. There were several scenarios and several suspects.

Of course by now, the ZODIAC is either dead or really old and soon to be dead.
Some theories were that the real guy died a few decades ago.
One guy in particular was almost sure to be the Zodiac. It's just that the evidence got lost, and then the detectives left the force, so the case got put away in the COLD FILES.
This movie depicts one of those theories.

Btw, I really loved this movie.
All the actors were just great!

Actually they didn't have so many suspects, as least not credible ones. How many suspects did the movie show then pursuing? One, two? Yeah, that's what I thought.
